Race Recap from Wiscasset 6/13/09

Jeff finished 2nd in his heat. The car seemed to be going quite good. In the feature Jeff took the lead but then got spun out by the second place car. They both restarted at the end of the field. The car wasn't the same after that. He pitted, but it was not a problem that could be fixed during the race. The rear end seemed to be out of square. Jeff ended up finishing 6th for the night.
 

Race Recap from Wiscasset 6/06/09

Jeff won his second heat race of the season. The car was a little free during the heat so he made an adjustment  before the feature. The car got tighter in the middle of the corners as the feature went on and Jeff ended up with a fourth place finish for the night. Luckily, no mechanical problems this week. He plans to make stagger and wedge adjustments for next week and is thinking about running the PASS race at Unity on June 21st.

 

 Race Recap from Wiscasset 5/30/09

In the last laps of the 15 lap heat race a bolt on the three point bracket on the rear end broke and Jeff ended up finishing 3rd. He started 2nd in the 35 lap feature. The chassis was a little on the free side during the race. While in 3rd place he got hit from behind and spun on the front stretch. He did a 360 and kept on going but was at the rear of the field. He was able to work his way back up to 7th by the end of the race.
 

 Race Recap from Wiscasset 5/23/09

Jeff won the first Pro-stock heat race of the season. The new chassis was fast right out of the trailer. He started on the pole for the 35 lap feature and led a majority of the laps, but a late race mechanical problem forced him to drop out of the race early, finishing 6th. The trailing arm bracket moved, causing the rear end to move over on the car.
 
JEFF BURGESS CONTINUES TO ROLL AT WISCASSET RACEWAY WISCASSET RACEWAY PRESS RELEASE 9/14/08

   Jeff Burgess has picked the right time of the year to hit his stride and turn in his best racing of the season. The veteran racer from East Madison started mid pack for the 50 lap Clark's Car Crushing Prostock feature and picked his way to the front for his 3rd win of the season and second straight in Wiscasset's top division. With his recent hot streak, winning three of the last five races, Burgess cut point leader Randy Turner's advantage in half and now trails by just ten heading into the final points race on September 27th.
